Sara and Connor’s Cantley House wedding was held on a rather windy Autumnal day. The colours were out in full force, creating a beautiful backdrop for their wedding.
Simon and I starting off the morning at Cantley House spending some time each with the bride and groom, capturing the moments up to their ceremony. This is an important part of your wedding day, as the excitement is building and there are details to be captured. Your wedding dress is hung waiting to be worn, your newly polished shoes are waiting to be broken in, and the flowers have just been delivered, giving out the most delightful scents!
The couple had decided on a woodland theme, so there were dark green accents and foliage everywhere. It created a STUNNING effect. Once Sara was ready to go, I ran down to the ceremony room to wait for her arrival with Simon. These two couldn’t stop smiling throughout, and it was SO much fun capturing their excited emotions.
After Sara and Conor’s ceremony, they said hello to their family and friends, and then we headed outside to take a few pictures. We did our best to go in-between the rain showers, and managed to run out when there was a break in the rain. It was rather windy, but this didn’t stop us from getting some lovely shots of the newly married couple.
They then took a quick peek at their wedding reception that was getting set up in the Cantley House barn. There was foliage wound all round the pillars, the fire had just been lit, and the candles on each of the tables were just starting to be lit. All of these little touches created a beautifully cosy effect.
Sara and Conor spent the rest of their wedding afternoon and evening eating delicious food, dancing and chatting. We stayed till the dancing was well underway, and then we headed off, leaving them all to the partying.
