July 11th, lockdown 2.0. …. I think, but to be honest I’ve lost count on which lockdown this was in. It didn’t stop these two from getting married though. Their date was originally set for Spring, but they had to postpone it because of the first lockdown. The weather turned out to be gloriously bright and warm! 30 guests met together to celebrate Julia and Joel’s wedding day, at Send Evangelical Church, and then on to their reception at The Old Greens Barn.
Julia’s day started bright and early at her parents house, where she got ready for the day with her 3 bridesmaids. It was then on to the church to meet Joel ‘at the alter’. The church was beautifully decorated with handmade bunting, and gorgeously hung flower hoops. A perfect setting for a summer wedding.
It was then on to their wedding reception at The Old Greens Barn. The day remained wonderfully warm as the couple enjoyed their wedding breakfast surrounded by their wedding guests, and played games outside till the sun went down. We were able to pop out for a bit to take some Mr + Mrs shots, and we managed to also catch some couple shots as the sun was setting, which created the loveliest golden backdrop.
Their day ended with cutting of the cake, dancing, and a fun sparkler shot to send them off. Thank you Julia and Joel for letting us be a part of your special day!
