Philippa and Tom
Philippa and Tom got married in their local church, within the Surrey Hills. They then headed onto Lythe Hill for their afternoon and evening reception. These two couldn’t stop smiling all day, and you could see the love they have for one another straight away.
The Bridal Prep
Their day started at Philippa’s Mother’s house, in the Surrey Hills. As soon as I walked in, I was surrounded by a lovely family atmosphere, with relatives helping the Bride, and her bridesmaids having their hair and makeup done. Philippa is naturally a very chilled person, so her morning reflected this and the whole morning ran smoothly. It was a lovely morning of spending time with some of her best friends, and her family.
Just before Philippa got into her wedding dress, she gave her flower girl her first proper necklace, and her face as Philippa put it on, was the cutest! Once the Bride and her Bridesmaids were all ready, they headed to their local church.
The Ceremony
Philippa and Tom had their ceremony at St James church in Shere. The Church was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely long walk up for the Bride, to the front of the church, and a tall steeple. The inside of the church was lovely and bright, and was the perfect place for Philippa and Tom to commit their lives to one another, in front of their family and friends.
The Reception | Lythe Hill
Philippa and Tom held their reception at Lythe Hill Hotel in Haslemere. When we first arrived at the Venue, we headed out into the grounds to capture their Mr and Mrs shoot. It was an overcast afternoon, but the sky made the perfect soft box, creating lovely pictures with soft lighting. I stayed on to capture their speeches, the cutting of the cake, and their first dance. I then left them to the partying.
