Katie and Jack’s Millbridge Court wedding was SO much fun! I started off the day at Millbridge Court with the Bride and her Bridesmaids and Simon was with the Groom and his groomsmen.
Millbridge Court has the loveliest area for the Bride to get ready upstairs, fit with fun lighting, lots of mirrors, and refreshments. The girls had a lot of fun getting their hair and makeup done, as well as creating bows for the wedding ceremony. I popped downstairs to photograph Katie’s dress and have a walk round the venue.
When we arrived at the church, Jack was a picture of both nervousness and excitement, as he greeted his guests. Katie was very excited walking down the aisle, and the two of them gave the biggest grin when they saw each other.
After their ceremony we went quickly back to Millbridge Court. It is sometimes quite tricky to plan a Mr and Mrs shoot in Late Autumn/Winter, as the sun goes down so quickly. Thankfully we had plenty of time to take some gorgeous shots of these two. It was quite soggy on the grass, so we had to be strategic where the Bride and Groom stood. It was a lot of fun, and the waitresses even bought out some yummy looking canapés for them to nibble at, during their shoot.
Simon and I then went and photographed the set up of their wedding breakfast. I LOVE Millbridge Court for its wonderful natural light. The tall, wide windows created a beautiful backdrop for Jack and Katie’s wedding breakfast. We try to use natural light wherever possible!
After their wedding breakfast, there was plenty of dancing and brownies to eat. There was even a photo booth, which all the guests had lots of fun with. Simon and I also sneaked the Bride and Groom out for a couple final pictures of them in front of the beautiful venue. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day Katie and Jack, you guys did incredibly!
